A therapeutic day school and community center for those in our community who are blind or visually impaired.

Mission Statement: nViZion Rise Academy’s mission is to provide specialized, high-quality instruction for children with visual impairments, including those with additional disabilities, that builds critical pre-academic and academic skills. 

Through a nurturing and accessible environment, we equip students with the tools they need to thrive and successfully transition into their neighborhood schools with confidence and independence.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to empower every student to confidently navigate and shape their world through their own unique lens, fully prepared for whatever path they choose. We do this by harnessing innovation, technology, and transformative education that honors and strengthens each learner’s individual needs

Educational Program

At nViZion Rise Academy, we provide comprehensive, personalized education for students who are blind or visually impaired. Our therapeutic day school creates pathways to independence through customized learning experiences designed to meet each student's unique needs.

Personalized Educational Approach

Every student benefits from an individualized program built around their specific Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals. Our structured day integrates:

  • Customized Academic Sessions delivered in one-on-one teacher instruction, aide-supported learning, and collaborative group settings

  • Strategic Movement and Sensory Breaks are incorporated throughout the day to enhance focus and maximize academic achievement

  • Essential Life and Self-Help Skills development, a cornerstone of our educational philosophy.

Community Based

At nViZion Rise Academy, our Community Center is a vibrant hub for learning, connection, and empowerment. We proudly offer a wide range of services to support children, families, and community members.

  • After-School Tutoring and Enrichment

  • Braille Instructions
