At nViZion Rise Academy, we provide a comprehensive, individualized, and nurturing learning environment that enables students with visual impairments to reach their fullest potential. We serve students who are blind or visually impaired throughout the state of Illinois through our specialized therapeutic day school program.

Educational Philosophy

Our educational approach helps students thrive by focusing on:

• Developing Essential Life Skills

We equip students with the tools and strategies to navigate their world independently, including orientation and mobility, independent living skills, and assistive technology.

• Acquiring Academic Knowledge and Skills

We provide rigorous academic instruction through the Expanded Core Curriculum for students who are blind or visually impaired, tailored to each student's unique needs, using accessible formats such as Braille, large print, and auditory materials.

• Cultivating Social-Emotional Well-being

We foster positive social interactions, emotional regulation, and self-awareness through a supportive and inclusive community.
